Northern Channel Islands Sailing Cruises

7-Day Cruises in the California Northern Channel Islands. Optional Bareboat and International Certifications are available

If you can cruise here, you can cruise anywhere!

Bareboat Charter Master and SLC certification Available

This is the sail training trip you’re going to remember for a long time. It’s been said that if you can cruise the Northern Channel Islands, you can cruise anywhere. It’s windy, it can be wild, and there are no restaurants or stores, no beach bars, and no moorings. We’ll be on our own. And that’s the exciting part. Just take a look at the pictures in the gallery below, and I think you’ll agree that these are some of the most interesting and beautiful islands to explore under sail.

The seven-day itinerary varies with the conditions, but we always look toward San Miguel if conditions permit, and we usually visit Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara Island, and Catalina. You’ll work on all the skills in the Bareboat Charter Master Rubrics, and you can elect to test through for the SLC Mediterranean Sailing License. Crew complete the meal planning and provisioning (a shared expense among crew) as part of the certification. Learn more about the Santana Sailing’s Bareboat Charter Master program >

Please note, you can join the cruise just for the experience without going through the formal training and certification process. Two double cabins available. See below for pricing and details.
